Sufiyan Tahir

I build, fix and ship apps.

I am Muhammad Sufiyan Tahir, a React Native and full-stack developer in Karachi, Pakistan. Most of the work that reaches me is an app that is nearly done: the screens exist, the founder has a launch date, and one thing at the end will not give. A TestFlight build that crashes. An Expo build that fails. Entitlements that do not stay correct. Auth that works locally and breaks in production. A store release that is still unfinished.

I started at Bitrupt as a React Native and frontend intern, stayed on as a React Native and full-stack developer until 1 September 2026, and now work at a product company while taking app rescues for founders on Fiverr and Upwork. I am finishing a BS in Computer Science at Iqra University.

How I work

  1. 01

    Reproduce

    I do not start by rewriting working code. First I reproduce the issue on a real device, the same build, the same account state.

  2. 02

    Understand

    Then I work out what is already working, so the fix cannot take that with it.

  3. 03

    Fix the smallest thing

    I change the smallest part that actually needs to change. If the problem is deeper, I explain it before touching unrelated code.

Stack

Mobile first, with web and backend work behind it. React and Next.js frontends, Node.js and Express APIs, and MongoDB, Supabase or Firebase for data.
