Barakah is a productivity app for families and teams, with prayers, habits and Quran progress alongside shared lists. It needed its core collaboration system: shared boards, real-time task syncing and an in-app chat per board, with plan gating through RevenueCat.
Diagnosed.
Before changing anything I traced how data moved between the screens and what the Firebase structure looked like, so the live updates could be built on what already worked.
Fixed.
I designed the Firebase structure and optimised the data flow so screens stay smooth with live updates. Subscription logic through RevenueCat supports the different plans, with Barakah Pro gating the advanced features.
Shipped.
Shared boards, live syncing, per-board chat and the Pro plan went out together on iOS and Android.
